Focus on: Senior portraits – Part 1

So, for some time it has bothered me that so many senior portraits look.exactly.alike.  And what’s worrisome about that is no two people are the same! Especially not at the age of eighteen!!  Seriously, high school seniors are in the middle of finding out who they are, what makes them unique, and where their true passions lie. Am I right?

Because of that, I’ve made it a mission to create senior portraits that really reflect something unique about each student.  My next several posts will be all about high school seniors and the type of portrait photography I offer. No question, senior portraits are some of my very favorite images to capture, and I’m really dying to book as many of these sessions as I possibly can.  Just being honest, here people!

I’m wide open when it comes to ideas and suggestions from my high school senior clients, too!!  Want images created inside your favorite store? Let’s see if we can make that happen!

Or what about you showcasing your favorite place to vacation (and y’all…if you include a trip to Disney, your portrait session is FREE. For real!!)

Love dramatic settings and have a serious side?  Let’s capture that, too!

Or maybe you really love the unique beauty of downtown Charleston…at night.  I do too!!

And I love pets!!  Why not include your best buddy in some of your photos?

And if you live somewhere other than Charleston?  NO PROBLEM!! Get me there, and I will shoot your session and make it all about you! (This image was created in Colorado!)

Whatever it is your are hoping for, let’s see if we can make it happen. I’m always inspired and challenged by new settings and new portrait ideas, so bring it on!  You only get ONE senior portrait session (well, two if you ask me to do your college session as well!) so make it count
